The Finest Hours

One of the first movies of 2016, Finest Hours is a very promising movie for model ship builders, or any maritime or ship enthusiast. It is another true story taken to the screen, which previously became a book.

S/S Pendleton and S/S Fort Mercer, two T2 tankers were caught by bad weather and broken into two. The story is about the coast guard crew who risked their lives to save the sailors onboard the broken ships with a tiny coast guard boat CG36500.

The Finest Hours currently have a rating of 7.1 on imdb. Directed by Craig Gillespie, featuring Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster and Eric Bana.
