The Blacksails is a series written as the story of events 20 years prior to “Treasure Island” the famous novel by Rober Louis Stevenson. The series have both real characters and fictional ones including the ships. An amazing effort was spent to build the ships as realistic as possible, which is a real eye candy for a scale model ship builder or any maritime enthusiast. Even an iron hook on rigging is not forgotten. The actors seem to be quite impressed about it too. Check out the video below.
